OUR SECTORS

While our roots are firmly in agriculture, over the years we’ve grown to support businesses in a wide range of sectors. Whether you’re a family farm exploring diversification, a start up artisan producer or global brand, we take the time to understand your industry. Below are some of the main sectors we have worked within.

AGRICULTURE & RURAL BUSINESSES

The UK agricultural industry is adapting fast – from farm diversification projects to the rise of agri-tech. The NFU reports nearly a third of farmers have already diversified their farms, and many of those expect the importance of non-farming activity to grow over the next 5 years.

Marketing here isn’t about flashy campaigns; it’s about trust, clear communication and connecting with real communities. Arable farms, livestock operations, diversification projects and agri-tech start ups – we know the agricultural landscape inside and out.

We’ve supported diversification projects like Wild Fox Gin, Farmyard Ales and George & Clemmie, helping them move from field to bottle, and cow to cone with strong branding, packaging, websites and ongoing marketing support.

EXHIBITIONS & EVENTS

88% of marketers identify events as a key revenue driver, according to recent reports, with many marketers planning to increase their spend on events budgets for the future, so competition for attention at shows and exhibitions has never been higher!

Using the relevant services we offer, we can provide full marketing management of your exhibitions or events. From branding and signage design to managing your digital database and social media; to create a successful event we understand there needs to be a perfect synergy between selected services to make this happen. We will liaise with publications and industry insiders to ensure your exhibition/event gains the attention and attendance it deserves.

CONSTRUCTION

The construction sector is built on reputation and relationships. Marketing here needs to showcase quality, reliability and expertise.

FOOD & DRINK

The food and drink industry is highly competitive, with branding, packaging and digital presence all playing a crucial role in influencing purchasing decisions.

Social media is increasingly influencing the buying behaviour of food and drink consumers, with 58% of people indicated they have been swayed by endorsements on social platforms.

Additionally, the purchase of food and drink as gifts has risen to 81% since 2022. This trend highlights the importance of ensuring that your seasonal campaigns, such as those for Christmas, Easter, and Mother’s and Father’s Day, stand out more than ever!

We’ve supported brands like Wild Fox Gin and Rosy Goat Ice Cream with branding and packaging, Dewlay Cheese with design, packaging and email campaigns, and Bowlander with photography and creative design.

EQUINE & VETERINARY

Equine and veterinary businesses thrive on reputation and community trust. Marketing in this sector is about balancing professionalism and approachability, and ensuring a strong digital presence where potential customers can find reviews and in depth information about your knowledge, expertise and services to put their minds at ease.

We’ve supported Red Rose Discussion Group and Oakhill Vets with social media coverage for events, helping them to reach new audiences and strengthen their relationships with their existing communities.

RETAIL

Retail marketing isn’t just about getting people through the door (or onto your site) – it’s about creating an experience that’s seamless, and helps you to build relationships with your customers so they keep coming back. From a fast, easy to navigate ecommerce website, to social media that engages with your audience and has fun: sharing ways to style the new boot of the season, or mixing a cocktail with a new flavour of gin, to creating a seasonal newsletter to give christmas gift ideas and shout about new product launches – every engagement with your audience should help to build relationships, brand recognition and encourage sales.

We’ve helped Croft Farm Toys (a family run farm toy retailer) develop a playful brand identity and e-commerce site tailored to young families. For Holden Clough Nurseries, we developed their branding to make it suitable for digital and print design, built a new website, and designed and printed a cohesive range of materials including event collateral, signage and printed fabrics to support their attendance at various flower shows and trade events.

TOURISM & HOSPITALITY

With UK breaks and staycations more popular than ever, tourism and hospitality businesses need to stand out online, where most decisions are made. Consumers are turning more and more to social media and using them as ‘search engines’ for places to stay, eat, drink and book experiences. First impressions on a website or social feed can make or break a booking!

According the PwC’s Travel Trends, 40% of consumers are now using AI tools to research prospective holiday destinations, which means your web content, blogs and site structure need to be optimised not only for search engines, but also for emerging AI summaries, so you appear in new spaces where people are planning their trips.

While digital discovery is key, we have also found that traditional marketing channels can still play a powerful role for specific businesses. Beautifully produced brochures, direct mail campaigns, magazine features, and billboard advertising can all work alongside your digital activity to inspire potential guests and help with brand recognition. We can help you to seamlessly mix online and offline marketing to reach your audience wherever they’re looking.

We’ve partnered with Bowland Lakes Leisure Village and Lakeland Leisure Homes on website design, social media, email marketing and print to support them with trade shows and selling luxury lodges and UK staycations. For Goosnargh Lodge Park, we managed everything from grand opening day marketing materials to site signage and brochures, ensuring a consistent brand presence at their most important moments!

We’ve also delivered projects for everything from wholesalers to fashion and beauty, to community events. The common theme in our approach is getting to know your business and the industry in which it operates thoroughly. This allows us to gain insights into your audiences, and makes your marketing feel authentic and effective in delivering results.
